Public Toilets in Alexandrina
Council endorsed the Public Toilet Management Plan 2024-2034 and that following consultation on the draft 2024/25 Annual Business Plan and Budget, that Council consider when adopting the final budget, an additional $15,000 of capital budget for the design of a new facility at the Strathalbyn Cemetery.

To help inform the review, Council is seeking our communities’ views on the current provision of Public Toilet facilities across the council area.
We currently have 39 public toilets located across Alexandrina, all ranging in age, style, and amenities.
Public toilets have been a hot topic at the 2021 Village Conversations, on social media, and more recently, throughout the Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget consultation feedback.
Now is the chance to make comment on public toilets. Your feedback will shape the future of these essential facilities to meet the needs of our community and visitors.

Submissions regarding the proposal will be accepted by Council until Friday 11 August 2023, 5pm.
