Join Us in delivering a fair, equitable and responsible rating system to the Alexandrina community!

Alexandrina Council is seeking your feedback for the following proposed change that has the potential to change the rating system for Alexandrina Council in 2013/2014.

"The last Rating Review with the community in 2012 resulted in the differential rate for Primary Production remaining unchanged ans the introduction of rate capping for non-residential ratepayers . In this review we are proposinga significant changes in how we collect rates from our community and how this will impact our community. I encourage you to have your say." Mayor Kym McHugh.

Council Proposes:

  • To move from a minimum charge rating system to a fixed charge rating system.
