At the 15 April 2024 Council Meeting, Council received the community engagement outcomes on the proposed location to construct a new public toilet and a basketball half court or BMX track within Clayton Bay Reserve. 

The community was asked if they would prefer a BMX track or a basketball half court and if they agree with the proposed location of either facility. Of the 112 respondents to the survey, 66.1% agreed with the location of the new toilet block, 55.4% preferred a BMX track and 67% agreed with the proposed location of the BMX track. 

Council has approved the next step of the project, progressing to detailed designs of the new public toilet and BMX track.
