Following community consultation, Council installed Long Vehicle parking zones on High Street, near the Kenny Blake Memorial carpark and one on South Terrace, neat the Train Station Playground.

Over the years, many concerns had been raised by the community that there is a lack of parking available for longer vehicles such as RV’s, Buses and vehicles towing trailers/caravans.

Council investigated potential options for Long Vehicle Parking in both the Dawson Street and the Historical High Street precincts.

We asked the community to give their opinion on the proposed choices, or suggest a different location and explain why you think it's better.

Council identified three options for Longer Vehicle parking;

• The northern side of South Terrace between West Terrace and Dawson Street. Click to view map.
