Community consultation is now closed

Council is considering a new Lease Agreement with the Goolwa Bowling Club Inc. for portion of the Goolwa Oval Recreation Precinct. The proposal is for a 20 year community ground lease for the current area occupied by the Club. All improvements on the site to be owned by the Club.

The proposed area of lease reflects the existing footprint of the current facility, with the inclusion of a brick external toilet block located adjacent to the Club rooms on the north western side. 

Fee - The annual rental fee for a Minor Commercial Community Agreement would be $500 (ex GST) in accordance with Council’s Lease and Licence Policy. The Club would remain responsible for all building and maintenance costs, rates and service connections.
