About the plan

Alexandrina Council has developed its draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2026– 2030.

This plan will guide how Council supports access, inclusion, and equity for people living with disability across the region. The South Australian Disability Inclusion Plan 2025- 2029 (State Plan) has identified measures all State Authorities will need to include in their DAIPs.

The consultation process undertaken for the development of the State Plan captured extensive feedback from people with disability, their families and carers, service providers, advocacy groups, and the broader community. This feedback informed the development of the priority areas, and mandatory measures that underpin both the State Plan and our draft DAIP.

We’re inviting community members to provide feedback on the draft DAIP. Community feedback will inform the actions and priorities in the DAIP over the next four years.
