Milang Library Depot

Alexandrina Libraries have been reviewing the opening hours and accessibility of the service for Milang and its locations. The depot will remain in the same location (Cnr Coxe St/Amaroo Ave, Milang) and we are seeking your feedback on the proposed opening days and hours. The proposed options include:

Option 1 - Status Quo: Remain with current opening hours of Monday 3pm-5pm and Friday 9:30am-12 noon. Please note that with this option, additional hours will no longer be offered if standard opening hours fall on a public holiday, to bring the service in line with the Port Elliot Library Depot.

Option 2 - Change (Tuesday half day): In lieu of current hours, open one day per week on Tuesday for 4 hours (during business hours). Please note this option would enable consistent opening hours and would be unaffected by public holidays that often fall on a Monday.

Option 3 - Change (Thursday half day): In lieu of current hours, open one day per week on Thursday for 4 hours (during business hours). Please note this option would enable consistent opening hours and would be unaffected by public holidays that often fall on a Monday.

Council will be holding information sessions, where you have the opportunity to attend and discuss the proposed opening days and hours for Milang at the following times:

1. Friday 5 October, 9:30am-12 noon

2. Monday 8 October, 3-5pm

3. Tuesday 16 October, 6-7:30pm.

All sessions will be held at the Milang Library Depot (adjoins Institute Building) Cnr Coxe St/Amaroo Ave, Milang.

Public consultation will be open until 5pm on Monday, 22 October 2018.
