Council (with the support of the Department of Infrastructure and Transport) is proposing to construct two pedestrian crossings facilities on Hays Street, Goolwa. Pedestrian movement in this area is particularly busy during peak summer periods, market days and during events held in the Goolwa Wharf Precinct. The two pedestrian crossing locations have been identified adjacent Porter Street following a pedestrian, traffic and parking survey and report. Project funding is subject to budget endorsement.

Community consultation will be open from 10 June until 5pm, 1 July 2021 and Council welcomes your feedback. View the concept plans and complete the online survey below.

Written responses can be sent by post to Alexandrina Council, PO Box 21, GOOLWA, SA, 5214 or by email to assetadmin@alexandrina.sa.gov.au; for further information please contact Council’s Assets team on 8555 7000.
