Consultation has concluded
A request has been received from Goolwa Pipi Co Pty Ltd to enter into a 5 + 5 year Agreement with Council for ongoing use of the kiosk located at Goolwa Beach. Goolwa Pipi Co Pty Ltd took over the remaining term of the existing Agreement from Bombora@Goolwa Beach on 2 November 2019, with the existing agreement expires 30 April 2021.
Since assignment, Goolwa Pipi Co Pty Ltd have undertaken extensive renovation works to the kiosk bringing style, character, a variety of cuisine promoting local produce and a connection to Country at Goolwa Beach, whilst retaining a beach shack vibe.

A new Agreement with Goolwa Pipi Co Pty Ltd will provide the community with an iconic and attractive local and tourist destination with a ‘beach shack’ feel, meeting the communities expectation to continue to provide café services at this location as identified in the Goolwa Beach Master Plan.
Council now seeks the communities feedback on the proposed Agreement. Public consultation will be open from 28 May 2020 until 5pm on Wednesday, 17 June 2020. Submissions can be made below or in writing to the Chief Executive Officer at alex@alexandrina.sa.gov.au
