Consultation has concluded

Consultation is now open for the proposed dogs on-leash requirement within the Beyond Estate, Chiton.

Council has received a petition from residents of the Beyond Estate at Chiton seeking to declare areas under Council’s care and control to be designated as dog on-leash only areas, prohibiting dogs from being exercised off leash in this precinct.

Council is seeking feedback from the community before making any formal decision – please view map here detailing the proposed areas.

We welcome your feedback during the consultation period – commencing at 9am, Friday 20 November until Thursday, 10 December 2020.

To have your say regarding the proposal, please complete the survey below or direct written submissions to alex@alexandrina.sa.gov.au or by post to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 21, Goolwa SA 5214.

Submissions regarding the proposal will be accepted by Council until 5pm on Thursday, 10 December 2020.

    Are you living in the suburb of "Chiton" or "Hayborough" within the Beyond Estate? 

    Please refer to map here - www.dit.sa.gov.au/chiton for confirmation. 

    **Please be aware** that the suburb of Hayborough was realigned in 2018 and the eastern side of Ocean Road is now known as "Chiton". It is important to understand which suburb and Council you align with before completing the following survey. If you are unsure please contact Council on 8555 7000 to confirm.
