Consultation commenced on Thursday, 7 November and submissions regarding the lighting levels in Clayton Bay will be accepted by Council until 5.00pm on Friday 29 November 2019.

Please direct all written submissions to alex@alexandrina.sa.gov.au or by post to PO Box 21, Goolwa SA 5214.

This following survey is designed to address key issues including:

• Light pollution affecting astronomy activities

• Lighting impacts on the native flora and fauna

• Safety for pedestrians

• Safety for homes and property.

Council will be using the data collected from this consultation to report back to Council what the overall level of community sentiment is, as well as details on the concerns raised by the community both for and against public lighting.
