Update – January 2025

Dear Community Members,

As part of Alexandrina Council's ongoing commitment to finding long-term solutions for the stormwater challenges in Ashbourne, we are currently working closely with landowners to secure their support for the construction of proposed Stormwater Mitigation Infrastructure.

A crucial next step in this process is for Council to reach an In-Principle agreement with all landowners whose land is proposed for the construction of key stormwater infrastructure, such as Detention Basins, Stormwater Pipes, and Levee Banks. We are committed to working together with landowners and the community in a collaborative manner and once all In-Principle agreements are in place, we can begin the next stage of the design process.
