Consultation has concluded
Alexandrina Council with support from the Office for Ageing is preparing an Age Friendly Action Plan. The Action Plan will support Council to ensure Alexandrina is an even better place for people to grow older.
The plan will build upon Council’s existing strategies that support wellbeing and identify objectives that are complementary with other concerns, such as public health, to avoid duplication, as well as identify areas where specific action is needed to support active ageing.
The plan will provide Council with an action-orientated document that complements the collaborative regional ageing taskforces. Councils are working with planning consultants URPA, and drawing upon the Age Friendly Neighbourhoods Guidelines and Toolkit for Local Government prepared by SA Health/Office for the Ageing.
Complete the survey below. The online survey will be available from the Monday 28March 2016 - 5pm Monday 11 April 2016. We look forward to your input.
