Each year, Council receives numerous requests from operators of Mobile Food Vans wishing to sell goods from vans located in streets within the Alexandrina Council area.
Please note that this policy will not have any impact on Council or community organised events.

Draft Mobile Food Vans policy out for consultation
Council at its meeting held on 17th October 2011 received the draft "Mobile Food Van" Policy with the policy being placed out for public consultation.
The adoption of a Policy will not have any impact on Council or community organised events such as the Strathalbyn Christmas Party, Goolwa Alive, Wooden Boat Festival etc, as these are events which are organised for the benefit of the community and, in the majority of cases, local traders are involved.
